Is Volcano Bay open right now?
Volcano Bay is open again! The water park was closed down from November 2, 2020 to February 27, 2021, due to the ongoing consequences of COVID-19 on the tourism industry. You can find out what (re)opening day was like right here. The 14-year-old stage show at Universal CityWalk Orlando has, sadly, come to a close.
What time does Volcano Bay Open?
Volcano Bay opens daily at 10am. Officially Universal says that Volcano Bay closing times “vary”, but last year the park typically closed at 5pm. Universal has been reducing Volcano Bay capacity since last June. They haven’t provided specific Volcano Bay park capacity numbers, but if you’re able to get in, the reduced capacity is a good thing.
When does Volcano Bay close?
Volcano Bay was shut down from November 2, 2020, through February 27, 2020, but guests are once again enjoying this watery Waturi wonderland with some social distancing restrictions. All three-park Universal Orlando Annual Passholders are currently eligible for Early Park Admission to Volcano Bay , so we arrived at the parking garage an hour before the regular park opening time.
Is Volcano Bay open year round?
Yes, Volcano Bay is open all year, including holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. Does Volcano Bay close during rain? What about cold weather or hurricanes? No, Volcano Bay doesn’t close during rain. However, if lightening is spotted nearby, the attractions will close and guests will have to get out of the water until the lightening passes.
