The Grand Opening is scheduled for August 21st according to a store employee. I really like the Sports Basement vibe. I’ve gone to several. A great store, friendly knowledgeable staff that can truly answer your questions- they ride bikes, play tennis, do yoga, go skiing etc. so you get real advice and opinion.
How bad is bike service at Sports Basement?
Service in the bicycle area today, a Monday around 3PM, was the worst. The kid working there needs an attitude adjustment. The Sports Basement is usually generous with filling tires, especially for customers that get their bikes tuned there. The older salesperson did just that for a woman that was there before me.
Can you pay for parking at a sports basement?
However, there is an employee standing in the sports basement parking area he tells you/lets you know where a parking spot is available so then you can pay for parking and go directly into the store as opposed to the other patrons using the parking lot for the park. Heads up – the parking lot is now an hourly paid lot.
